TN not to withdraw cases against Kudankulam protestors

New Delhi: Tamil Nadu declined to withdraw all cases against anti-Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant agitators and said that those concerned could move to Supreme Court for remedy. Of the registered 341 cases 101 cases are serious in nature. The crime range from sea blockade to attack against officials and private persons. In an affidavit submitted by Tirunelveli Collector’s affidavit if such cases are withdrawn the people will lose faith in judiciary.
