Sabarimala Women Entry: TDB To Demand 100 Acres Of Land

T'puram: The Devaswom board will request for 100 acres of forest land to arranging facilities for women at Sabarimala. The board has decided to request for the land following the SC verdict which allowed women of all ages to enter the Sabarimala temple. The final decision on this will be made in the meeting to be held on Wednesday. The board will also consider arranging a special queue for women. The board plans to make the request for land from the Forest department through government. Devaswom Board President A Padmakumar on Friday said that the board will arrange facilities for women at Pamba after discussing with the government.
