Bengaluru: The Karnataka government rejected the proposal of the Union Government to lift the ban on the night-traffic in the Bandipur- Wayanad national highway. Environment minister R Shankar had made it clear that no plans can be implemented without the consent from environmentalists. At the same time, protests against Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy and PWD Minister HD Revanna grew stronger as they agreed to support the Union Government.
