Kochi: The probe team in the actress abduction case filed a counter affidavit in the high court against Dileep’s petition seeking CBI probe in the case. The probe team alleged that Dileep moved a petition with an aim to delay the trial. Actor Dileep has filed 11 petitions in various courts from the magistrate court to Kerala High Court. In the court, the prosecution observed that all documents relating to the case have been handed over to Dileep. But he keeps filing unnecessary petitions in the court as part of his plan to delay the trial, added prosecution. The affidavit also observed that the accused has no power to intervene in the inquiry and should not demand who should probe the case.
