Nun has strong evidence against bishop: parish priest
Kottayam: Fr. Nicholas Maniparambil said that the nun who filed sexual assault complaint has strong evidence against Jalandhar Bishop Franko Mulakkal. Fr. Nicholas revealed that the nun has evidences including voice recordings of the bishop. Apart from that, nun also has the whatsapp messages from Jalandhar bishop which make her case stronger. Fr. Nicholas also revealed that, an intermediary of bishop approached him to solve the issue. The nun also discussed the issue with others in the convent. Nun had stated that she would meet the press if they failed to take appropriate action before 30th of last month, he added. Police informed that they would question bishop immediately after registering the statement from the nun.
