Kuthiravattom sending back cured patients

Kozhikode: There are around 149 patients staying in Kuthiravattom Mental hospital who does not need inpatient treatment. Most of the patients are from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu of which seventy patients relatives have been found. Patients from Maharashtra, Bihar, Rajasthan, Andhra will also be send back to their native places. The hospital authorities have handed over the details including addresses to legal service authority. Most of them come here in search of job or are abandoned by the relatives. Those who are not taken back by relatives will be rehabilitated by the concerned states.
