CM, Revenue Min differ on Munnar NOC

Idukki: The difference in stances taken by the Chief Minister and Revenue Minister over the Munnar NOC issue could worsen the situation in the district. It is clear from the statements made in the assembly that the government has no plans to take away the NOC for new buildings and is not for amending the law to overcome the court order. All the political parties in Idukki want the Government to scrap the NOC order issued by the Revenue Department. But the department feels it cannot be withdrawn.
