Govt's expatriate chit fund: Registration from tomorrow

T'puram: State Government to begin expatriate chit fund for the State's developmental projects. Registration for chit fund, starting in August, will begin from tomorrow. The expatriate need not be concerned even if the government changes in between, said Finance Minister Dr. T M Thomas Issac. The chit fund would be implemented through KSFE. In the initial stage, only emigrants of UAE can join the chit, but others can register. After understanding the practical aspects, emigrates from other gulf countries will be given opportunity, Finance Minister informed through Facebook live.
