Thiruvananthapuram: Minister for Tourism and Devaswom Kadakampally Surendran said Sunday that there is nothing unusual in police registering a case on a complaint that Aswathy Jwala collected funds in the name of Latvian native Liga Skromane who died in mysterious circumstances. Speaking to mediapersons here, Kadakampally said that the job of the police is to conduct a probe after they receive a complaint. “They are doing their job. How can it be said that it is wrong?I had called Aswathy Jwala to enquire about the matter. She said that the matters mentioned in the complaint are not true. I consoled Aswathy saying not to feel hurt or afraid if she is sure that she has not done any wrong.
