TC issued to 9 students to secure 100 p.c. results in SSLC

Malappuram: It has come to light that schools in the State are continuing to dismiss students to ensure cent per cent pass rate in the SSLC examinations. A complaint has been filed that nine students of ninth standard at Karipur Airport Senior Secondary School were given TC alleging low academic standards. Students who were studying in the school from LKG onwards have been dismissed. One of the expelled students include a girl. The school authorities also intervened so that the students will have trouble in getting admission in other schools, the complaint says. The Childline activists, who intervened in the issue on a complaint filed by the guardians, have taken the statements of students.
