First no confidence motion against Modi Sarkar in Parliament

New Delhi: The no-confidence motion moved by the YSR Congress and supported by TDP against the NDA government on the issue of granting special category status to Andhra Pradesh is the first one against the Modi Sarkar, which assumed power with a clear majority. Despite a few defeats in the bypolls, BJP has 273 MPS in the Lok Sabha. Though they cannot bring the Central government down, the regional parties are on a mission to strengthen their unity. Though the motion won't be a threat to the government, the unity in the Opposition ranks could prove a huge challenge for BJP.
