With the memory of cyclone Ockhi and the devastation it sowed in the coastal regions fresh in mind, Kerala is in a state of high alert as a depression formed in Arabian sea south of Kanyakumari intensifies. Wind would be blowing at 65 kilometres per hour within the sea and the waves may rise to a height of four metres. As of the now, Kerala is no danger.
