CM Pinarayi visits Madhu's house in Attappadi

Attappadi: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday visited the house of tribal youth Madhu who was lynched by a mob in Agali last week. Madhu's family urged the CM to ensure that the accused in the case do not get bail. The CM promised to extend all legal help possible to the family. Pinarayi also assured them that the government counsel will take a stand against granting bail to the accused when the case comes up for hearing on Monday. The CM spend around 15 minutes with the family. Minister KK Shailaja, M B Rajesh MP, MLAs N Shamsudheen and PK Sasi accompanied the CM. After visiting Madhu's house, the Chief Minister attended a meeting of officials looking after the welfare of scheduled tribes in the Attappadi region.
