Revoking Binoy Kodiyeri’s travel ban may be difficult

Dubai: The travel ban imposed on Binoy Kodiyeri will not be revoked easily. It is said that he will face difficulty while filing the appeal for revoking the ban. According to the existing rules of the Dubai court, when travel ban is imposed on a person, he has to go through many legal procedures inorder to cancel it. At present the only option Binoy has is to file an intermediate appeal which will then take at least a week’s time for the verdict. Only after then, he can approach the higher court. Binoy will have to abide by the conditions put forward by the court to quash the ban. The court may ask Binoy to surrender his sponsor’s passport and on this security the ban might be revoked.
