AK Saseendran acquitted in sleaze talk case

Thiruvananthapuram: The Thiruvananthapuram Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Saturday acquitted former minister AK Saseendran in the sleaze talk case. The court rejected the petition filed by a woman, a native of Thycaud, asking not to acquit Saseendran. The woman journalist who filed the complaint against Saseendran told the court the other day that she has no complaints against him. The complainant told the court the other day that Saseendran did not behave indecently towards her at his official residence and she was not sure whether the person who indulged in sleaze talk with her over phone was Saseendran. AK Saseendran, had resigned as transport minister on March 26, 2017 following the sleaze talk controversy.
