Modi-critic Mallika joins AAP
Mallika Sarabhai, a strident Modi-baiter joins AAP as a “foot soldier.” She said: “I have worked a lot with Arvind. My values match with his Aam Aadmi Party.” She added that the year-old party must be given a chance. AAP believes that Mallika will attract more women. In 2009 contesting as independent candidate, she lost to L K Advani from Gandhinagar. She has been constantly taking up issues of the 2002 pogrom victims. Mallika who runs ‘Darpan’ is a dancer, social worker and daughter of famous danseuse Mrinalini and space pioneer Vikram Sarabhai. Banker Meera Sanyal, Capt. Gopinath who created Air Deccan, Infosys board member V Balakrishnan and singer Remo too have joined AAP.
