Bar bribery scam: HC bans media debates, discussions

Kochi: The Kerala High Court has banned all the debates and discussions on media relating to the bar bribery scam. It has directed the police not to release any information regarding the investigation in the case. It also registered the disapproval of the leak of information regarding the probe. At the same time, the Vigilance have informed the court about the investigation being conducted in regard of the leak. The details of the case submitted by the investigation team in a sealed cover at the court was leaked. The information that there exists no evidence against KM Mani in the scam was disclosed. This initiated the court to intervene in the matter and ban media discussions on the same.
