T'puram: Actress Amala Paul, against whom a case was booked for registering her luxury car in Puducherry, failed to appear before Crime Branch officials on Tuesday. Instead, she submitted a letter seeking additional time. It may be noted that Amala is yet to remit tax for the car in Kerala. The Crime Branch has summoned actor Fahadh Faasil for interrogation on Tuesday afternoon. His anticipatory bail is now under the consideration of the Kerala High Court. The investigators have also asked Suresh Gopi MP to appear in person for interrogation on Thursday. The action against the three were initiated following a Mathrubhumi News report on tax evasion.
