Idukki: Congress and CPI came out making it clear that they would not support the protest of Munnar protection council. The council had declared hartal in 10 panchayats over Munnar land grab issue. Congress leaders who supported the council initially backtracked after their support became controversial. While, CPI alleged that the council is formed by resort owners and those who are behind the land grab.
