Thomas Chandy : Action after receiving legal opinion, CPM
T'puram: The action against Thomas Chandy over the allegation of filling up of backwaters to build a parking bay for his Lake Palace resort will be delayed. The CPM secretariat had held a meeting to decide on the action against Thomas Chandy. The meeting did not discuss the Thomas Chandy issue in detail. However, the meeting decided that the action need to be taken only after receiving legal opinion. The government had sought the AG's legal opinion soon after the collector submitted the report against Thomas Chandy. The party has decided to wait till it gets legal opinion.
