Rajeev Murder: CP Udayabhanu to be made 7th accused

Thrissur: Prominent lawyer CP Udayabhanu will be made seventh accused in a case related to the murder of real estate broker Rajeev in Chalakudy. The investigation team today submitted the documents related to the case before the High Court in a sealed cover. Earlier, the court, while hearing the anticipatory bail plea of Udayabhanu, had asked the police to submit evidence to establish the lawyer's links with the case before proceeding against him. The documents were submitted by DySP Shamsudeen, who heads the Special Investigation Team which probes the murder.The SIT said it has clear evidence about the link between Udayabhanu and the accused in the case.
