New Delhi: The Kerala state government submitted to the Supreme Court in an affidavit that it didn't find any offences necessitating an NIA investigation in the Hadiya case. The state police had investigated the case in detail and the crime branch probe was satisfactory. The state submitted the said affidavit on the plea filed by Shefin Jahan, who married Hadiya, requesting the SC to withdraw the order for NIA inquiry. If NIA probe was necessary, the state would have informed the Centre, the state makes its stand clear on the case.
