30 families brought by CPM for Aranamula strike in distress

Pathanamthitta: Families which were brought to Aranmula to take part in the strike against the airport have not been included in project Life (Livelihood, Inclusion, Financial Empowerment) which envisages a roof for those who do not have houses and a complete rehabilitation package, expected to benefit over 4.70 lakh families. Though five years have gone by, CPM has neglected these families. Around 200 landless persons had been brought to Aranmula by the Pathanamthitta CPM district leadership in 2012. Though strikes for land in different parts of the State were brought to an end, these thirty families remained in Aranmula.
