Actress attacked case: National women's panel blasts state

New Delhi: National Commission for Women Chairperson Lalita Kumaramangalam today alleged that the government lacks interest in the actress attack case. No proper probe was conducted and the police are deliberately trying to delay the investigation in the case. Speaking to Mathrubhumi News, she said that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan did not reply to her questions about the case. There are vested political interests behind the delay in investigation. Explanation will be sought from Kerala CM and DGP in this regard, Lalitha said. Charge sheet of the incident that took place in February this year has not yet been submitted.
