Rains continue in Mumbai: Possibility of high tide

Mumbai: Rains continue relentlessly in Mumbai and there is risk of flood. According to weather officials, it could be the heaviest rain since 2005. "The metropolis has received heavy rainfall since last night. Between 8.30 am and 12 pm today, the city received 85 mm rainfall," said Sudhir Naik, Deputy Municipal Commissioner "Step out of homes only if it is too important because water-logging has been reported from several parts of the city," he said. Police have said there is possibility of high tide ,water rising up to 3.5 metres and warned people about staying away from the sea shore.
