Case filed against TP Senkumar for ‘forging documents’

T'puram: A case has been registered against former State Police Chief T P Senkumar for allegedly producing fake documents to draw the full salary of the eight-month period when he was on leave. He has been booked under four sections including a non- bailable section. Since it includes non-bailable section, Senkumar may have to face police police procedures including arrest, it is learned. The case is that he tried to avail a benefit of Rs 8 lakh from the government by submitting ‘fake medical certificates’ to show that he was under medical leave during the eight months. It is alleged that he tried to convert his half-pay leave into full-pay leave, which will help him to draw the full salary.
