BCCI Ban On Sreesanth Lifted

The Kerala High Court on Monday lifted the life ban imposed by the BCCI on Indian pacer S. Sreesanth. The speedster was arrested on charges of alleged spot fixing while playing for Rajasthan Royals in the 2013 Indian Premier League. Soon after his arrest, the Board of Cricket for Control in India's (BCCI) disciplinary committee came down heavily on Sreesanth, slapping a life ban on him . In 2015, Delhi court exonerated him and two other players in the case registered by the Delhi Police. However, the BCCI was not ready to revoke the life-ban. Sreesanth's wife Bhuvaneswary thanked the people who stood by the cricketer through the most difficult phase in his life. She hoped the good times will return to the family.
