Karnataka cut shorts Madani's travel expense to Rs 1.18 lakh

New Delhi: Karnataka government on Friday submitted to the Supreme Court the details of the travel expenses to be incurred from PDP Chairman Abdul Nasser Madani to visit Kerala in order to attend his son's marriage.Karnataka has cut short the amount for travel expenses from around Rs 14.79 lakh to Rs 1.18 lakh. The Supreme Court has granted permission to Madani to stay in Kerala for four more days. As per the Supreme Court order, Madani can stay in Kerala from August 6 to August 19.The Court decided to grant four more days to Madani as he had lost it due to the uncertainty created over the Karnataka government's demand to pay a huge amount for his travel expense.
