BJP office attack: Four persons taken into custody

Thiruvananthapuram: Police on Friday took into custody four persons in connection with the attack on the BJP state office here in the wee hours of the day. Kunnukuzhi ward councilor IP Binu, CPM activists Prathin Saj, Jerin, and Sukesh have been taken into custody. After incidents of political violence in Thiruvananthapuram, the police on Friday imposed prohibitory orders in the state capital for three days. The prohibitory orders were issued under the Kerala Police Act to curb more untoward incidents. Following the attack on the BJP state office, the BJP and CPM workers clashed at various places in the district.
