Govt will take stern action on attacks against women: CM

New Delhi: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday vowed to take stern action against attacks directed towards women. "As soon as a complaint was received against MLA M Vincent, the government entrusted a woman police officer to investigate the case. The investigation is progressing. MLA M Vincent was arrested as part of the investigation,” Pinarayi told mediapersons in New Delhi. Separately, Pinatayi took to Facebook and said that the government will bring to book the perpetrators of violence against women no matter how influential they are.
