Govt move fails, chicken being sold at Rs 120 a kilo

Palakkad: The government move to regulate the price of chicken have failed. In most places in the State, prices remain unchanged. The government decision has been to price chicken at Rs 87 per kilo and processed chicken at Rs 158 per kilo. But, chicken is being priced at around Rs 120 per kilo and processed chicken at Rs 200 per kilo.
