Current situation doesn’t warrant pricing above MRP: Isaac

Alappuzha: Finance Minister Thomas Isaac on Sunday said the prevailing situation does not warrant pricing of products above the maximum retail price (MRP). Talking to media after attending the talks with the representatives of the Kerala Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithi on GST, he said the government is willing to discuss the topic with the traders once more. The minister further alleged that a lobby that fixes chicken price is operating in the state.
