Supreme Court Justice GS Singhvi retires

New Delhi: Giving landmark judgments on various cases Justice of India G S Singhvi retires. Singhvi served in the coveted post for six long years. While serving as High Court Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh G S Singhvi was appointed the country’s apex court Justice in 2007 Nov 12. His stand on 2G spectrum case put the central government in crisis. The judgment that those in constitutional position as well as higher post should use beacon light on vehicles was also a path break. The day before his retirement Singhvi’s another historical judgment came on homosexuality that it is a criminal offense.
