LDF, UDF leaders unite against Devikulam sub collector

Idukki: The efforts of Devikulam sub collector Sreeram Venkitaraman to resume 22 cents of land and resort in the possession of Congress leader VV George have culminated in the all-party meet on Munnar encroachments. For political leaders who have been waiting for the removal the sub collector from his current post, this eviction attempt became a useful weapon. But since the CPI and Revenue Minister opposed this move, it could not gather steam.
