Genital chopping incident: No case to be filed against girl

T'puram: The police will not register a case against the girl in the incident relating to the chopping off of the genitals of Swami Gangeshananda. This decision has been taken on the basis of legal advice. The crime branch will begin investigations in to the case in two days' time. The girl has been given police protection after she said there are threats to her life. As of now, a case has been registered against Gangeshanada alone.
