Commotion in TN Assembly; Stalin and 86 DMK MLAs arrested

Chennai: Tamil Nadu assembly witnessed a ruckus on Wednesday after DMK MLAS started protesting demanding a probe on cash for vote scam during trust vote in Tamil Nadu assembly. DMK working president and opposition leader MK Stalin and 86 other MLAs were evicted from the assembly and later police detained them.A private TV channel had exposed that AIADMK legislators were paid bribes by party general secretary VK Sasikala, in return for supporting the Palaniswami government during the trust vote on February 18. After the House assembled at 10 am, Stalin wanted to raise the issue. However, Speaker P Dhanapal didn't allow him following which the commotion took place.
