Centre bans three docus from Kerala short film festival

T'puram: The Centre has denied permission to exhibit three documentaries at the upcoming international short film festival in Kerala. The documentaries deal with Rohit Vemula, JNU and Kashmir issues. Kerala Film Academy chairman Kamal said that documentaries dealing with the intolerance protests in the country have been denied permission by the ministry of information and broadcasting. He alleged that there is a cultural emergency in the country.
