Bar opening: Govt will abide by HC directive, says Minister

T'puram: Excise Minister TP Ramakrishnan said that all the bars that had been re-opened have been shut down as per the High Court's directive. It was following the High Court's directions that the bars had been re opened, he said. He also said that the court's verdict could be examined by anyone. The Minister said his government would abide by court directions with regard to the ban on liquor shops within 500 metres of National and State highways.
