Vigilance finds graft in Govt offices, no action taken

Kochi: During the vigilance raids conducted in various government offices when Jacob Thomas was vigilance director, wide spread irregularities were detected. A total of 322 government offices were raided and irregularities were found in 217 of them. Though the Vigilance had recommended departmental action against the accused officers, no action was taken. Most of the irregularities were detected in Thiruvananthapuram and Palakkad districts.
