Self-financing ordinance could be a setback to state in SC

Kozhikode: Even as the Kerala Self-Financing Colleges Act is about to be considered by the Supreme Court, the self financing ordinance brought in by the state could prove a setback, say experts. The problem has been caused by the two fee regulatory committees appointed by the state. Though there is a fee regulatory committee for self-financing institutions under the education department, the government has set up another committee under the health department through this ordinance.
