Govt to prepare list of large scale encroachments in Munnar

T'puram: The Government has tightened its reins on large encroachments in Munnar. It is currently focussing on the big land grabbers as the eviction of small scale encroachers might result in the stoppage of the entire exercise. A directive in this regard was given by Revenue Minister E Chandrashekharan to Revenue Secretary PH Kurien. As the first step towards eviction of encroachers, the department has been asked to prepare a list of large scale encroachments within a month.
