KIFBI steals the show in Isaac's second budget

T'puram: Even in the second budget of the Pinarayi government, Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIFBI) stole the show with a major chunk of money being rooted through it for the development works. It was in the first budget that Finance Minister Thomas Isaac launched the new initiative. This time budget aims to find money to the tune of Rs 25,000 crore through KIFBI for the various development projects that found mention in the budget. This also includes a flagship project K-phone that pans to make internet connection available to every household. The financial crisis of the government is reason for funding money for projects from KIFBI.
