DA case: Karnataka asks TN to reimburse money it spent

Bengaluru: Karnataka government has asked Tamil Nadu to reimburse Rs 7.5 crore spent by it on conducting the trial of former TN Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, Sasikala and two others in the disproportionate assets case. The Rs 7.5 crore was spent by Karnataka government on handling the case in Bengaluru, A letter in this regard was sent to Tamil Nadu by Personal and Administrative Reforms department of Karnataka. The case was transferred to Karnataka based on the request by DMK that if the case is carried out in Tamil Nadu there will be political interference.
