Salam Bombay – Tribute to centenary of Indian cinema

The Mira Nair directed movie ‘Salam Bombay’ depicted the story of street children in Mumbai. Her courageous act to bring the slum children before camera, made them live on screen. ‘Salam Mumbai’ won many accolades at Cannes and other global film festivals. The background score of the movie which was released in Hindi was done by famous violinist L Subramaniyom. The children who acted with Nana Patekar and Raghuveer Yadav acting without camera fear.
