Govt will not take back land allotted to Law Academy: CM

Kozhikode: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that there will be no investigation into allotment of land to the Law Academy Law College. In a press meet held here in Kozhikode, the chief minister categorically ruled out any probe into the land dealings which had happened during the reign of C P Ramaswami's time. ARC chairman V S Achuthanandan had written a letter to the Revenue Minister E Chandrasekharan seeking to reclaim the excess land in possession of the Law Academy Law College. He sought a probe into allotment of excess land to the institution. The CM was reacting to questions over the VS letter. The CM pointed out that land was not allotted by the present government or the previous government.
