Bad days still haunt Jacob Thomas?

Chief Secretary S M Vijayanand has recommended action against Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) Director Jacob Thomas in connection with alleged irregularities in the purchase of dredger when he was the Ports Director. The recommendation was made based on a report submitted by Additional Chief Secretary K M Abraham. The report claims that discrepancy to the tune of Rs 15 crore was found in the deal and recommended high-level inquiry into the purchase. The Chief Secretary, in turn, has recommended to temporarily remove Jacob Thomas from the post of Vigilance Director. Super Prime Time discusses the issue.
