Though sad over CM's remarks Chief Secretary won't resign

Thiruvananthapuram: Discontent is brewing in the top administrative level with Chief Secretary S M Vijayanand expressing embarrassment over Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan openly criticising him in front of other IAS officials, including his juniors. There were reports that he may submit his resignation after facing the wrath of the CM during a high-level meet which was convened to discuss the strike called by IAS officials. However, sources close to him denied rumours about resignation. Meanwhile, other senior ministers, including Thomas Isaac, are on to pacify. The IAS officials have also conveyed their displeasure over the CM announcing full support to the Vigilance Director without listening to their version.
