Will they stop seeking vote in the name of religion?

In a landmark judgement that will change the way political parties do politics in India, the Supreme Court today said that no politician can seek vote in the name of caste, creed, or religion. The judgement of the apex court came while hearing several petitions in Hindutva case. SC said that relationship between man and God is individual choice; and the State is forbidden to interfere in such an activity. Supreme Court also added that election is a secular exercise and thereby its way and process should be followed. Super Prime Time discusses the issue. Participants: Dr. Sebastian Paul, Fr. Paul Thelakkattu, Hameed Chennamangaloor, Adv. PA Sreedharan Pillai and Ranjith Maraar.
