Jisha Murder: Petition seeking further probe dismissed

Kochi: The Ernakulam Sessions Court on Thursday dismissed the petition filed by Jisha's father Pappu asking further investigation into Jisha murder case. In his petition, Pappu had said that some of the findings of the investigation team are factually incorrect. There is a mismatch in the time of death recorded in the charge sheet and the post-mortem report. The investigation team could not find the murder weapon, he said in the petition, adding that the police's version that the murder was committed by one single person is difficult to believe. However, the court pointed out that the police had investigated and clarified the allegations raised by Pappu.
