SC pulls up Karnataka asks it to release water to TN

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday criticised Karnataka for defying its order and asked Karnataka to release 6,000 cusecs of water daily to Tamil Nadu from October 1 to October 6. Asking to release water as the final warning the apex court said before “wrath of law falls on the State”. The court has also asked the Centre to set up Cauvery Management Board by October 4.The apex court criticised Karnataka for flouting its orders and creating a situation by which the majesty of law is dented.
